Oman Air begins flights to Bangalore
Oman Air’s new service to Bangalore aims to boost the cooperation in the
Information Technology sector between the two countries and presents new
opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two nations
Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate, has commenced its services to
Bangalore in India. Oman Air’s new service to Bangalore will certainly boost the
cooperation in the IT sector between the two countries and presents new
opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two nations.
Usama Bin Karim Al Haremi, Head of Corporate Communications and Media in Oman
Air, said that the service to Bangalore would help facilitate and encourage the
rapidly growing commercial ties with India.
The extended air services will surly benefit both, since the arrangement would
allow airlines of both countries to meet the needs of the traveling public,
including the business community. The move also reflects a shared commitment to
improved air services. “We started services to India with the goal of providing
value for money travel for customers traveling to and from the Gulf. As we
intend to expand services to the country, we are absolutely delighted with the
growth we have achieved in India and once again, we reassure our commitment to
the goal we have set,” Al Haremi stated.
“Providing connectivity to Bangalore is important, since it is the centre of
economic activity. Bangalore is developing, and we are very bullish about the
traffic potential here,” he said. “We extend our thanks to the Indian government
and civil aviation authorities for their continuous support. Through this
occasion, we give surety to our commitment to give more and more customers the
opportunity to fly to the Gulf and further for business and leisure. At Oman
Air, we are committed to extend our services to serve the travel needs of
customers in this part of the world,” he concluded.
