Real Estate: Boom Time
High liquidity, easy availability of finance options, and demand pressure for more commercial and residential units are spurring the growth of real estate not just in Muscat but in far flung areas such as Sohar and Salalah too. On the flip side, the real estate prices have shot up and increased the living cost substantially.

The number of plots allotted or distributed to Omani individuals has tripled in one year. This itself fuels the growth of real estate.
